Stoke-on-Trent’s D2NA announce exciting office move

IT solutions provider D2NA have announced their move from Lymedale Business Centre in Newcastle-under-Lyme to the Phoenix Works on King Street in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.

The move was prompted by a suggestion from members of staff on a team away day, who were keen on the idea of a more collaborative and open workspace. That is certainly what they have found in Phoenix House, where the company now has four times the amount of space spread over two floors.

This is the start of an exciting new chapter for the Staffordshire business, with space for the team to grow and the capacity to launch new services such as training and conferencing. With the facility to host meetings of up to 20 people, MD Matt Satongar is hoping to provide a space to showcase some of the technologies D2NA offers, where customers can come to get hands-on experience and training.

The open plan space will be a relaxed and flexible working environment that caters for the wellbeing of the team. With access to the cobbled courtyard outside and informal seating areas, staff will no longer be restricted to working at a desk.

Matt Satongar, Managing Director at D2NA commented: “The team felt that the conventional style of office working was stunting our growth as a company and wasn’t synonymous with the D2NA ethos. We started the search for an environment that would encourage creativity and where the team could work together in comfortable surroundings over a nice coffee or even a pizza. At the same time, we felt it was important to stay true to our Stoke-on-Trent heritage. Our new space at Phoenix Works is allowing us to create a modern collaborative workspace inside a traditional Potteries building.”

Phoenix Works owner Mark Milner undertook a major renovation scheme to open up the enterprise centre, which consists of more than 40,000 square feet of listed buildings with onsite car parking. D2NA’s new neighbours include the Portmeirion Factory Shop and The Glost House Cafe Bar.
